When hanging your wreath, it’s best to secure it through the copper wire base rather than balancing it on a hook, which can make it more stable. Additionally, check that no foliage is sticking out from the back, as this could scratch the door. If you want extra protection, back your wreath with a soft material.
Once you’re sure your wreath is safe for your door, it’s time to choose how you’ll hang it. The simplest option is a wreath door hanger, which is available in various colours at most high street shops.
For doors with a large pane of glass, a suction cup hook can work well. Just ensure the glass is clean beforehand; this also gives a polished look with the hook hidden behind the wreath.
If your door has a knocker, it can serve as a built-in wreath hook. Simply loop a ribbon around your wreath and secure it to the door knocker, matching the ribbon to your colour scheme for a lovely finish.
